Part 2

Using Ecliptica for clinical trial simulation & PK/PD

Clinical trial simulation generates virtual patients from assumed models so a design can be tested before it runs. PK/PD models link dose to drug concentration (pharmacokinetics) and concentration to response (pharmacodynamics).

Part 3

External control arms

An external control arm uses patients from outside the trial, such as earlier trials, registries or real-world data, as the comparator when a concurrent randomised control is not feasible or ethical.
